inspiration for a beautiful built-in swimming pool

Although it will look a lot different this summer than in previous years, I would like to inform you about a wonderful holiday I had a few years ago. Just as people are posting a lot of old holiday snaps these days, I like to post this story so that you can get inspired to have a beautiful summer yourself and enjoy all the things you experience. A wonderful holiday to Turkey

This is a country that is not to everyone’s taste. I am certainly not such a person! I have been coming to Turkey for many years in a row. I was therefore allowed to visit all well-known seaside resorts and cities: from Bodrum to Istanbul.

Turkey offers many beautiful places to discover and in this blog I will tell you about my last holiday with a beautiful resort near Antalya.

The resort

One of the many things I love about this country is the hospitality. I have to say that I have not only stayed in resorts, but this has to be the icing on the cake. The moment I walked into the lobby, I was offered a glass of champagne. I don’t drink so kindly declined and asked if they had Turkish tea too. This was handed to me with pleasure!

Once I had completed the administrative formalities I was given a tour of the resort grounds. Starting with the beautiful botanical garden. Here grew plants and flowers that I had never seen before! There was a nice gardener with whom I had a chat.

After walking through the garden it turned out that it opened on a beautiful terrace overlooking the Mediterranean sea. Several built-in swimming pools were installed between the botanical gardens and the terrace. I spent a lot of the evenings here!

Once home

From this beautiful resort I decided to mimic a bit of the same idea in my backyard. I had completely fallen in love with that lush garden and the idea that I could walk into a swimming pool whenever I wanted!

After a long search for a suitable swimming pool, I ended up at a company called Stassar. Here I found a pool that fits my needs exactly! After applying for several permits, the digging could finally begin. Now, a month and a half later, I can finally start enjoying my new built-in swimming pool.
